Director’s Message

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are completed, and peace and blessings be upon the best of creation, the Messenger of Islam, and upon his family and companions.

Learning begins with separate letters. These letters come together to form words; words then come closer, connect, and unite to form meaningful and useful sentences.

Sentences develop into paragraphs, pages, books, records and volumes that can become too numerous for libraries, bookshelves and traditional storage facilities to contain. Digital media, databases, websites, cloud computing and backup systems have therefore become essential means of preserving and accessing knowledge.

Humanity’s digital content has become an important part of knowledge and development. Preserving, enriching and managing this content is essential for building a knowledgeable and prosperous future.

The message to the Sudanese nation is to enrich its electronic content and preserve it in order to achieve a leading position among nations.

For the University of Bahri, the responsibility is to continuously develop its computing institutions and technical units in order to achieve the required digital transformation.

Just as learning begins with a letter, then a word, achievements and civilizations are built through the efforts of individuals, teamwork, communities of specialists and all members of society.

Let us light the candles that illuminate the path of knowledge by giving attention to the University’s website, enriching it with information and updating its content from time to time.

Let us all cooperate in developing and operating the University’s digital platform and make it a reliable source of knowledge that reaches users through the Internet wherever they are.
