It is our pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the University of Bahri, a gateway
through which we connect with the world and engage with our students, faculty, alumni, and partners, both locally and internationally. Established in 2011, the University of Bahri aspires to be a pioneering academic institution, a beacon of scientific excellence, and a vibrant centre for research and community service. We firmly believe that education is a noble mission and that human development is the cornerstone of progress and sustainable development. Thanks to our highly qualified academic staff and advanced infrastructure, including modern classrooms, well equipped laboratories, and cutting-edge technological facilities, the university has been able to create a stimulating educational and research environment that contributes to the quality of academic outputs and supports development and innovation efforts in various fields.
The University comprises 20 faculties and 6 specialised centres, covering diverse academic and scientific fields, including: Medicine, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing, Public and Environmental Health, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Production, Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, Agriculture, Applied and Industrial Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Computer Science and Mathematics, Education, Social and Economic Studies, Administrative Sciences, Law, Humanities, Community Studies and Rural Development, Petroleum Geology and Minerals, Languages, and Postgraduate Studies.
Our main campus is located in Al-Kadro, which includes the majority of the faculties,
administrative departments, and service facilities, in addition to the presence of other branches distributed in different parts of Khartoum state, which enhances its ability to provide academic and research services to a broad geographic area and a wide range of communities.
The University of Bahri is committed to building and strengthening strategic partnerships with reputable academic and research institutions both within Sudan and abroad.
The university has signed a number of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and bilateral
agreements, approximately 47 in total, with universities and research centers across Arab,
African, Asian, and European countries. These agreements cover a wide range of areas, including student and faculty exchange, joint research projects, curriculum development, and the organization of scientific conferences and workshops.
This international cooperation represents one of the key pillars supporting the university’s vision of achieving academic and research excellence, expanding horizons of knowledge, and gaining insight into global experiences. It positively impacts the quality of educational outcomes and contributes to building the capacity of both academic and administrative staff.
