College of Veterinary Sciences Organizes its Cultural Day
College of Veterinary Sciences-University of Bahri has organized its cultural day at the colleges’ campus in Alkadaro under the motto “a prominent past, a brighter present and a promising future”.
The Dean of College of Veterinary Sciences, Dr. Adil Ahmed Suleiman said that the college has achieved an incomparable success since its establishment, where it provides top-quality education that keeps up with the latest technological changes and updates throughout advanced academic syllabi in different specializations. He commended the organization of this event, urging the students to hold on to their cultures and local heritage.
The Dean of Students’ Affairs Deanship, Dr. Al Nour Abd Al Rahman addressed the gathering, saying that students are considered to be the main pillar of the future aspirations, he had also urged them to be aware of the scientific and technological growth.
The Dean of College of Arts & Humanities, Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Mustapha, in his turn, praised the students’ contribution in this event, and the enormous efforts exerted by the college in finding out hidden students’ talents and creativity in the different cultural, social and academic fields, stressing on the importance of the positive building-up of their future characters.
The college, in the framework of its celebration and in collaboration with Ministry of Health, has also held a symposium on fighting rabies, besides a number of other activities including fairs and folkloric students’ performances.
