Dissertation and Periodicals Division consists of:

• Dissertation unit:

Tasks:

1. Receiving and registering approved theses.
2. Organizing and registering the received dissertaions.
3. Cataloging and classification of dissertations.
4. Storing bibliographic data in the automated system of the library.
5. Providing easy access to dissertations database for the researchers.

• Periodicals unit:

Tasks:

1. Following up the University periodicals.
2. Subscribing in local, Arabic and foreign periodicals in coordination with acquisition division.
3. Organizing and registering the received periodicals.
4. Classification, cataloging, abstracting and indexing of Periodicals.
5. Providing information service to for the researchers.
6. Preparing periodicals for binding.
