A Training Course in Peace – Building Dialogue
The centre for peace and development- University of Bahri, organized the 5th training course in peace – building dialogue, during 25-27 of august 2015, in collaboration with UNESCO chair for peace.
The Director of Cenrte for Peace and Development, Dr. Fayez Omar Jami, welcomed the participants, referring that the centre had previously organized several training courses in peace-building dialogue, adopted many training courses for peace activists, and to integrate first- year student courses with peace dialogue concept. Dr. Fayez also referred to the conflicts as a main reason for blood-shedding and total destruction, where this training course was designed to help find resolutions for conflicts and aid communities to prevent them.
Head of training section, Dr. Hwaida Salah El dien Al Atabany said that the training course aimed at the exchange of opinions, expertise, activities and the analysis of conflicts. The programme also included a number of lectures on peace- dialogue concepts and the analysis of conflicts.
It is worth mentioning that the course targeted 18 participants from civil society organizations and some of those who work in conflict-affected areas.

نظم مركز السلام السلام والتنمية بجامعة بحرى بالتعاون مع كرسي اليونسكوللسلام فى الفترة من 25-27 /2015 الدورة التدربية رقم 5 فى الحوارمن اجل السلام وابتدر الحديث الدكتور فائز عمر جامع مدير مركز دراسات السلام والتنمية الذى رحب بالحضور وذكر بان المركز قد نظم العديد من الدورات فى مجال الحوار من اجل السلام ويتمثل دور المركز فى اتجاهان اولا تبنى دورات عديدة للناشطين وثانيا ادماج مقررات لطلاب السنة الاولى فى الجامعة حول ثقافة الحوار، وذكر ان النزاعات تودى الى سحق الارواح والممتلكات وان الدورة تساهم فى وضع حل للنزاعات ومساعدة المجتمعات فى كيفية تجنبها ،ثم تحدثت الدكتورة هويدا صلاح الدين العتبانى رئيس قسم التدريب عن الدورة وأن الهدف منها تبادل الاراء والخبرات والانشطة وتحليل قضايا النزاعات ، ويحتوى برنامج الدورة على العديد من المحاضرات حول مفهوم ثقافة الحواروتحليلٌ أنواع النزاع،
وتستهدف الدورة عدد 18 دارسا من منظمات المجتمع المدنى وبعض العاملين فى مناطق النزاعات
