A report on the Academic Field Trip to AlSabaloga Area from 9th-18th/2/2016

Under the supervision of Dr. Abd Al Rahman Ahmed Abd Al Rahman, teaching staff members and assistants; and within the context of merging theoretical aspects of science with the practical ones, the administration of college of petroleum geology and minerals organized an academic field trip for the 3rd and 4th year students to Al-Sabaloga area and its suburbs. The students were divided into two groups as follows:
The 1st group (El- Misaiktab Group): Under the supervision of Dr. Abd Al Rahman Ahmed; Dr. Saad Yeni and the teaching assistants Mubarak Mohammed , Badr Aldein Ibrahim , Rasha Al Bashir and Asmaa Saeed, represents a number of 111 third year students who are assigned to examine the different types of rocks in the area geologically, hence, each student is asked to prepare a geological report as an academic assignment for the second semester to be graded at the final results.
The 2nd group (Alban Jadeed Group): Under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Sid Ahmed Al Sayigh, Dr. Salah Fadl Allah, Mr. Ibrahim Muhamadain, Mr. Mohammed Abo Agla and Mr. DafAllah Siddig, represents a number of 51 forth year students who are assigned to study and map Alban Jadeed area with a drawing scale of 40000:1 using available topographic aerial photographs, students are also required to prepare a scientific report on the geology of the studied area under the supervision of their professors, then they will be graded as an academic assignment at the final results of the second semester.
Both students and professors have received a good impression on the scientific trip they have made, strengthening their social and fraternal ties as well as updating their academic knowledge in putting theoretical information into practical action.

 

[:ar]نظمت ادارة الكلية رحلة علمية حقلية لطلاب المستويين الثالث و الرابع في اطار ربط الجانب النظري بالجانب العملي الي منطقة السبلوقة و ما حولها في الفترة من 9-18/02/2016 م تحت اشراف الدكتور/عبد الرحمن احمد عبد الرحمن و عدد من اعضاء هيئة التدريس و مساعديهم حيث تم تقسيم الطلاب الي مجموعتين كما يلي:
المجموعة الاولي (مجموعة المسيكتاب) و هم طلاب المستوي الثالثوعددهم 111 طالب و طالبة تحت اشراف الاساتذة د. عبد الرحمن احمد و د. سعد يني بمعاونة مساعدي التدريس مبارك محمد و بدرالدين ابراهيم و رشا البشير و اسماء سعيد و كانت المهمة الاساسية هي معاينة الصخور المختلفة بالمنطقة و دراستها جيولوجيا و معرفة علاقة الصخور ببعضها البعض و سيتم اعداد تفارير جيولوجية بشكل تفصيلي لكل طالب علي حده باعتبارها واحدة من المقررات الدرسية للفصل الدراسي الثاني و التي يتم منحها تقدير اكاديمي في النتيجة.
المجموعة الثانية: (مجموعة البان جديد ) و هم طلاب المستوي الرابع و عددهم 51 طالب و طالبة تحت اشراف الدكتور/محمد سيد احمد الصايغ ود.صلاح فضل الله و أ. ابراهيم محمدين و أ.محمد ابوعاقلة و أ. دفع الله صديق و اهتمت هذه المجموعة بدراسة و تخريط منطقة البان جديد بمقياس رسم 40000:1 من الصور الفجويةالمتاحة وسيقوم الطلاب اعداد تقرير علمي عن جيولوجيا المنطقة التي تمت دراستها تحت اشراف اساتذتهم باعتباره مقرر يمنح الطالب عليه تقدير اكاديمي في نتائج الفصل الدراسي الثاني .
عموما خرج الطلاب و الاساتذة بانطباع جيد عن الرحلة العلمية حيث زادت من الرابط الاجتماعي و الاخوي بين الطلاب كما زادت الحصيلة الاكاديمية للطلاب بربطهم للجانب النظري بالجانب التطبيقي[:]
