Historically, the College was established at the University of Juba in 1997 as the Secretariat for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, which was later changed to a college. After being reallocated to the University of Bahri, the College was divided into two separate colleges: the Deanship of Academic Research and the College of Graduate Studies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The College, in collaboration with the other University Colleges, offers graduate diploma, master and doctorate degrees in various disciplines described under the individual colleges.<\/p>\n

The Graduate College usually performs the tasks of registration, follow-up of students’ progress, thesis examinations, and issuing academic certificates and transcripts. The concerned colleges perform the tasks of scientific research and academic supervision.<\/p>\n
