About the College<\/h2>\n

Historical Background<\/h3>\n

Sudan is predominantly an agricultural country, with agriculture forming the backbone of its economy. To realize its potential as a breadbasket for the Middle East, it must effectively utilize its vast natural resources.<\/p>\n

The present College of Agriculture is the result of the integration of the College of Agriculture at Upper Nile University and the Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Juba.<\/p>\n

Since its establishment in 2011, the College of Agriculture at the University of Bahri has aimed to adopt modern and up-to-date academic and technical approaches to meet the current and future needs of the country and its people.<\/p>\n

The College strives to produce highly qualified professionals and technical supervisors at all levels, including PhD, MSc, BSc, diploma and certificate holders across various specializations.<\/p>\n

The College also seeks to maintain a strong relationship with the farming community by identifying and addressing agricultural challenges through applied research and an effective feedback system.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
