The Humanities College, department of archaeology at University of Bahri, has welcomed a delegation from Neelain University and University of Münster (Germany) headed by Tim Kirbard, archaeologist at Bayuda desert, and Dr. Ahmed Kaboshya, a teaching staff member at Neelain University in order to identify the latest mutual digging results of Neelain University and University of Münster in Atbarah River’s area. The delegation delivered two lectures on using geographic information system in archaeological work in Sudan presented by Dr. Tim Kirbard which were commentated by Prof. Abdulraheem M. Alkhabeer, Archeology professor at University of Bahri. Afterward, the lectures were followed by another lecture titled as (Archaeological work at Atbarah River in the old times), presented by Dr. Ahmed Kaboshya. Finally, Prof. Khabeer has expected more collaboration between the two parties in the fields of exchanging experiences and training students on archaeology.
