Public Administration

Introduction:

The department of public administration is one of the main departments at the College of Management Sciences established in the year 2011. It is one of the departments adopted from the School of Management Sciences at the mother Institution University of Juba. It offers four years general degree as well as honours degree in five years.  There is also a three years technical diploma program offered in cooperation with the Centre for Human Resources Development.  The department also offers higher diploma in cooperation with the College of Graduate studies and the Center for Distance Education.

Vision:

It is a pioneer, outstanding and prominent department in the field of the public administration and its specializations at local, regional and international levels.

Mission:

The department offers distinctive and high quality programs in the field of public administration, qualifying, training and graduating cadres that will contribute in developing and promoting administrative work locally, regionally and internationally.

Objectives:

  • Graduating qualified cadres in the field of public administration capable of competing both locally, regionally and internationally.
  • Providing consultations and specialized managerial studies to public institutions.
  • Preparation of professional and academic scholars as well as training them to meet the needs of the community.
