Professor Ayoub Adam Mohammed, the vice-chancellor of University of Bahri, and Dr Migdam Alsheikh Abdulghani, General Manager of the National Research Centre, have signed a collaboration agreement between both institutions stating conduction of mutual research according to both parties’ interests, as well as establishing mutual research units and encouraging cooperation in different research activities. The two parties have also agreed on organizing conferences and seminars, co-supervision on graduate students and encouraging scientific publication in scientific journals and publications.
On the one hand, Professor Ayoub talked about the importance of this collaboration, which takes place as a result of realising the University’s research and services aims committed to the society in order to achieve sustainable development goals, as well as exchanging research experiences and experiments which will be reflected on the educational process and improve its quality. Additionally, he pointed out that the university is connected by collaboration networks with many research institutions both locally and internationally.
On the other hand, Dr Migdam Alsheikh Abdulghani, General Manager of the National Research Centre, has expressed his delightfulness of signing the collaboration agreement which can enforce research and academic links between the centre and the university, and enable the application of the highest academic quality standards. In addition, Dr Migdam has clarified that the articles of the agreement will guarantee a fertilized ground to different research fields, training, and creating strategic partnerships, stressing that these areas will be advantageous to both sides and realise knowledge, scientific and research desires. He has also confirmed the dedication of both parties to be committed to applying the agreement’s articles and realising it on the ground.
