Believing in its pioneer role in human resources development for the local communities, College of Agriculture- University of Bahri signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Agricultural Research Corporation on October, 18th. The event was attended by the Dean of Agriculture College; Dr. Zainab AbdAllah Yousuf, the Director of Human & Agricultural Development Directorate; Prof. AbdAllah Ibrahim Al-Hajwa.
The agreement was signed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Dr. AbdAlilah Kunaa on behalf of the university, and Prof. Adil Omer Salih; representing the corporation.
Dr. Kunna said that, this agreement aims to launch a mutual continuous project between the university and the corporation, adding that it also focuses on establishing Research units with common interests, encouraging scientific publications, cooperation in writing and translation, alongside the mutual supervision on graduate students, exchanging visits among researchers and the teaching staff.
Prof. Adil expressed his contentment on signing this agreement with the University of Bahri; as one of the prominent higher education institutions in Sudan, stressing that this agreement is considered as a complementary part to the corporation policy in facilitating communication among the educational institutions, which has positive impacts on scientific research.
